| Abstract(in English) | Recent progress in forward error correction (FEC) for information-communication systems will be reviewed. We will describe the trend of FEC technology, and introduce cooperative coding systems and joint decoding schemes. Also, we will discuss the evolution toward Integrated source-channel and/or encryption-channel coding and decoding. |
