Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A multi-hop cooperative network is one of transmission systems which have been studied with forward error correction (FEC) codes for long distance wireless communications. This system is expected to realize high quality communication in laser satellite communications which provide us ultrafast speed wireless communications. However, since the channel characteristics of satellite laser communications are different from those of terrestrial wireless communications such as mobile phone, it is needed to construct a transmission system utilizing an efficient channel coding. In this paper, we propose a multi-hop cooperative transmission scheme using a low density generator matrix (LDGM) code as the channel coding for deep-space laser satellite communications. It is shown by computer simulations that a high-quality transmission is available by the proposed scheme.
