Implementation of Broadband Wireless Communication System Using Frequency-Domain Equalization

Abstract(in English) Frequency-domain equalization (FDE) method is necessary for realizing "Dependable Air", which is broadband and wide-area heterogeneous network (HetNet) with high reliability even in a situation of large scale disaster. In this paper, we designed and implemented an FDE large scale integration (LSI) chip using 180 nm Si complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) process. Moreover, two 60 GHz band applications using FDE were proposed; (1) broadband technique for 60 GHz band multipath channel measurement system, and (2) improvement technique for frequency characteristics of 60 GHz band 3-dimensional system in package (3D SiP) module.
