Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We analyzed electroencephalography (EEG) signal synchrony between suppleymentary motor area (SMA) and primary motor area (Ml) that is considered to be involved in the control of complex bimanual movement. Two subjects were recommended to the 4 bimanual self- paced tapping tasks simultaneous and 3:2 polyrhythm (Personal tempo and as fast as possible). Phase Locking Value (PLV) was used to evaluate between SMA and Ml. To calculate PLV, We estimate the EEG frequency band that reflected the SMA activity using Deviation Ratio Topography (DRT). We calculated the deviation of EEG spectra from control task (simultaneous: personal tempo) and drew DRT. Using decided EEG frequency (ll.VHz), we calculated PLV. In the behavioral result, Tapping as fast as possible, variability of the tapping interval is wide than personal tempo tapping, so it is considered difficult to maintain regular tapping as fast as possible. But in this experiment, within 4 tasks, there were no significant differences on PLV. It is considered that the phase transition did not happen in 3:2 polyrhythm tasks.
