Abstract(in English) This paper presents the evaluation method of absorption characteristics when the cap-type milimeter-wave absorber is arranged in near field of undesired electromagnetics wave source. The reflection characteristics of the monopole antenna are compared with the absorber and the PML having arbitrary absorption is arranged in near field. In this case, we estimated the absorption of the absorber. First, the absorption characteristics of existing absorber is evaluated using the proposed method. As the results, it is confirmed that the tendency of the absorption vursus distance from the antenna. Next, the absorption of the absorber is estimated when the material constant and the absorber size change. As the results, it is shown that the absorption of the absorber can be estimated by the proposed method.
