Abstract(in English) Optoelectronic oscillators (OEOs) have been studied with the advantage of ultra-low phase noise. In this paper, we report a low jitter OEO by use of a low phase noise crystal oscillator, and a low phase noise phase-locked loop (PLL) circuit, and demonstrate a 1.3-GHz oscillation with 68-fs rms jitter.
