Abstract(in English) | When prolate spheroids vibrate with the direction of the short axis(x-axis), directivity, frequency characteristics and acoustic radiation impedance of prolate spheroids are calculated. In this report, vibration modes treat four types, 1) expansive and compressive vibration with the direction of the x-axis, 2) vibration like a piston with the constant velocity in the direction of the x-axis, 3) vibration like a piston with positive amplitude in the direction of the x-axis, while the outer parts vibrate with negative amplitude, 4) vibration like a piston with the positive amplitude in the positive direction of the x-axis, while the outer parts remain still. |
