Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose a parameter estimation method for a closed-box loudspeaker system using Volterra kernels. A nonlinear IIR filter is one of the methods of reducing the nonlinear distortion of the loudspeaker system. Since the nonlinear IIR filter needs linear and nonlinear parameters of loudspeaker system, any parameter estimation method is required. The conventional parameter estimation method uses the displacement characteristic of the diaphragm of the loudspeaker system and requires the solution of the nonlinear differential equation. However, if the nonlinear differential equation becomes complex (e.g. adding nonlinearity of inductance), it is difficult to solve the nonlinear differential equation. Hence, a new parameter estimation method that does not use the displacement characteristic of the diaphragm of the loudspeaker system is required. In this paper, we propose a novel parameter estimation method that uses the Volterra kernels of the loudspeaker system.
