Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A base station cooperation cellular network using remote radio heads (RRH) is proposed to enable dynamic clustering of cooperative base stations. In the proposed network, a RRH is placed at the middle of a cell, and base station units (BSU) are located at all vertices of the hexagonal cell. A BSU is connected with surrounding three RRHs via optical fiber to perform base station cooperation transmission (CoMP-JT) against users located at the cell-edge where the BSU is located. At the same time, a RRH is connected with surrounding six BSUs using different radio resources, so that user oriented dynamic selection of cooperative base stations (dynamic clustering) can be achieved. Optimization of radio resource allocation for differenct clusters is also discussed in this paper.
