Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Further enhancement in spectrum efficiency by improving basic multiple access scheme for cellular mobile communications could be considered as a long-term research issue towards the future radio access (FRA). This paper presents our initial views on the radio interface using non-orthogonal multiple access for FRA. The discussions in the paper focuses on differences from the existing radio interface of Long-Term Evolution (LTE) that is based on orthogonal multiple access. Then, we show that the introduction of non-orthogonal multiple access has some potential specification impacts on the radio interface especially in the downlink.
