Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Optical wireless communication system using LED as a signal source is expected as the next generation communication infrastructure. However, the background optical noise such as sunlight and the multi access interference(MAI) noise induce signal degradation. In this paper, we consider MAI noise tolerance of the multi access optical wireless communication system to use the Binary Spectrum Spread (BSS) modulation by simulations and experiments using the LED traffic light. As a result, the good transmission characteristics BER<10^<-3> was achieved with 10 times MAI in 100m multi access optical wireless system.
