Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This report presents the evaluation for parameters to enhance channel capacity in 2×2 MIMO systems. Although low spatial correlation has been considered as an important factor to obtain large channel capacity, it is not entirely true because channel capacity is changed due to received power difference even if each SNR and each spatial correlation coefficient are identical in two different channels. We reveal that maximum channel capacity is obtained by optimizing eigenvalue. Then, we demonstrate that eigenvalues are parameters including spatial correlation and received power difference. Moreover, we show that increase of SNR for enhancement of channel capacity is effective under the condition that spatial correlation is less than 0.7.
