Wavelet Multi-resolution Analysis of Reception Level Variations in Urban Mobile Communication Environment

Abstract(in English) In mobile communication environment, reception level variations are generally modeled using three kind of variations, such as small-scale variation, large-scale variation and path loss, which are defined by mean range of observation values. However, the relationship between state transition of the variations and mean range is not clarified. In this paper, we propose applying wavelet multi-resolution analysis to analyze the relationship and clarify the analyzed results from measurement data in urban macro-cell environment.
