A Generalized Formula for Spatial Correlation in Three-dimensional Fading Environment

Abstract(in English) This paper presents a generalized formula for spatial correlation (SC) of three-dimensional (3D) incoming waves with angular power spectrum (APS) of Ω(θ,φ)=cos^n θ in multipath fading environment. Based on the formula, SC performances at antennas or array antenna (AA) can be approximated by simple computation with closed-form solutions in Cartesian coordinate. The validity of the proposed method is verified by fairly good agreements to numerical results.
