Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) To examine miniaturization possibility of the antenna, the dependence of directive gain and the radiation efficiency of reactively loaded three-element Yagi-Uda antenna on the length, the width of the elements and the inter-element spacing was calculated,. It is shown that there is a correlation that the radiant efficiency decreases when the combination of reactance is controlled so that the directional gain becomes large, and that it is hard to realize the unidirectional beam with a high absolute gain when the antenna is small because the decrease of the radiation efficiency becomes remarkable.
