Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Body-centric wireless communications (BCWC) became an active area of research due to widely applications such as E-Health system, home care, sports training, security agencies and entertainment etc. In this report, we proposed a low profile and compact size planar inverted F antenna (PIFA) for on-body communications. The path loss is an important factor for communication. From Friis formulas, the distance between the transmitter and receiver, and the gap between the two antennas and human body are the key parameters that affect the path loss. Hence the effects on the antenna by changing such parameters are also reported.
