Abstract(in English) | This paper proposes a phase shift compensate technique against the path length variation of Distributed Array Antenna system (DAA). The DAA consists of multiple tracking antennas and an array controller. The array controller controls the phase of each antenna's transmitted signal appropriately to realize spatially in-phase combining at the satellite onboard antenna. However the path length between each tracking antenna and the satellite changes under vessel's motion and/or movement. The DAA estimates the satellite direction using a DOA (Direction of Arrival) algorithm, calculates optimum phase values and controls each excited phase. To verify our proposed compensation technique, we calculate antenna pattern. We confirm that the proposed technique offers good performance. In addition, we clarify that the proposed technique mitigates requirements on antenna tracking accuracy, we study each antenna tracking accuracy's mitigation. |
