Toward the realization of the Home ICT services

Abstract(in English) We are promoting user-friendly services called "Home-ICT services" and a platform system that the services rely on. "Home-ICT" offer rich and convenient home services, such as SMAs (Home Security, Management and Automation), to all users including low-ICT-literacy users by using a wide variety of devices connected to a home network and the world's most advanced ICT infrastructure. In this report, we introduce our business concept of Home-ICT services that enables multiple service providers to share a carrier's platform (including customer's HGW (Home Gateway) in his/her home). And we also illustrate a platform system we've developed. To realize our goal, this system accepts various consumer devices and various networks based on the OSGi standard.
