Method for Select Thumbnail of Folder using Color Information in Document Image

Abstract(in English) In this research, we aim to improve the speed of searching the objective folder on the paper document management system. The paper document management system operates on the "CLUE : Cyber Linking of Ubiquitous Entities.", that management a entities using a active RFID tag and a entities' picture. Then, we proposed two methods. One is the "method for the surface feature amount calculation (method 1)," that mean the strength of the feature is calculated from the color of document picture. The other is the "method for select automatically thumbnail of folder (method 2)," that mean the folder thumbnail is automatically selected by the strength of feature amount. In evaluation experimental, the method 1 is 55.0% corresponding to the selection according to subjective. When applying the method 2, the number of clicks decreases, comparing with method of selecting the folder thumbnail at random. Therefore, the speed of searching the objective folder is improved using those methods.
