Abstract(in English) | We propose a novel energy management system that controls electric power flow under ceiling of power consumption while keeping users' Quality of Life. We call the system "Energy on Demand(EoD)". In our system, electric appliance is attached to SmartTap which is an intelligent outlet with measuring power consumption, connection with home server and control of power flow. When an electric appliance requires electric power, the SmartTap sends "power request message" to the home manager. Taking priority of power request and reduction target into account, the server decides whether power source provides electric power to it, and proving power. |
