Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A microcontroller is useful for easily providing digital communications in sensor network, owing to low energy consumption, small physical size, cheap price, etc. Among them, we focus on Programmable System-on-Chip (PSoC) microcontroller from Cypress Semiconductor Corporation, which integrates configurable analog and digital peripheral functions, memory and a micro-controller on a single chip. Generally speaking, it is necessary for a waveform transmission to use external analog signal processors like analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters, amplifiers, filters, etc. But with the PSoC, we can easily configure those on a single chip as needed. In this paper, we present an implementation of baseband signal processing for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) on the PSoC. Owing to its limited hardware resources, we can achieve very low speed communication. But we also indicate some effective usages of the PSoC in future works.
