Abstract(in English) This paper presents a study of polarization division duplexing for a 120-GHz-band wireless link. We designed and fabricated a new compact and high-isolation fmline ortho-mode transducer (OMT) for a polarization division duplex 120-GHz-band wireless link. The new fmline OMT suppresses the oscillations on the fmline without using resistive card. The measured cross polarization discrimination (XPD) and isolation are more than 32 and 50 dB, respectively, across the entire occupied bandwidth of the 120-GHz-band wireless link. Using the fmline OMT, we succeeded in the experiments for 10-Gbit/s bi-directional and 20-Gbit/s uni-directional error-free data transmissions.
