Abstract(in English) In this paper we proposed segmentation algorithm of colon from abdominal computed tomography (CT) of the cleansed and air-inflated colon. Our multistage detection method can detect different part of colon. This method approach uses and adaptive mathematical morphology method, 3D region-growing method, with self -adjusting growing condition depending on local variations of the intensity at the air-tissue boundary. We apply our segmentation method on 30 cases, each case has two data. We evaluated our result by expert radiologists and our result was fruitful.
