Quality estimation model for stereoscopic video services

Abstract(in English) Stereoscopic high definition video is one of the promising next-generation video services because stereoscopic video can express more life-like visual experiences. Stereoscopic video quality of experience is affected by the employed codec. Therefore, we conducted extensive subjective assessments for frame-sequential video sequences using different codecs. We then modeled their characteristics based on an edge parameter. We finally verified the performance of the proposed model.
