| 抄録(和) | 大規模な映像データベースから,映像中の人物に何らかの感情の変化が現れている印象的なシーンを高速に検索することを目的として,映像中の人物に様々な表情が表出しているシーンを効率的に検出する手法を提案する.表情表出時に顕著な動きが見られると考えられる,目や口などの顔面を構成する要素周辺の特徴点の位置関係や,特徴点付近の画素の輝度分布に基づいて,高速に抽出することのできる特徴量を多数定義し,それらの中から表情の識別に有用な少数の特徴量のみを選択的に用いて効率的な表情認識モデルを構築することにより,検出精度と検出速度のトレードオフを考慮した表情表出シーン検出ができることを示す. |
| 抄録(英) | For the purpose of rapid retrieval of impressive video scenes including emotional expressions of human beings, this paper proposes an efficient detection method of emotional expressions in video scenes. In the proposed method, a large number of facial features are defined using several facial feature points around principal facial components such as eyes and a mouth, based on the positional relationship of facial feature points and the intensity values of image pixels around them. By evaluating the usefulness of the facial features, an efficient facial expression recognition model is constructed using a small number of useful facial features based on machine learning. The experimental result shows that the recognition model enables us to perform efficient video scene detection taking into account the tradeoff between detection accuracy and detection speed. |
