Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) For spatial representation by olfactory sensation, distribution and orientation of smell source are important. However, it is considered to be difficult to find the orientation of smell source only by olfaction, because right and left nostrils of human nose are very close to each other. Hence, we considered that wind conveying the smell might be important for smell localization and the orientation of wind direction might be related to find the orientation of smell source. We measure horizontal angular resolution of wind direction at the frontal region of head.
