Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this technical report, we present a method for detecting a temporal rigid change in 3D scenes between time A (past) and time B (present) using a 3D scene at time A and an image at time B, and display the result of the detection. Each point in the 3D scene has local features in order to estimate the camera position at time B by matching local features of 2D points. Our method select an image among those at time A which have the largest number of corresponding points with the image at time B. The selected image is used to detect rigid change in the scene. Experimental results demonstrates that the proposed method works well for real 3D scenes.
