| Abstract(in English) | Various radio communication systems are introduced and developed to operate railway systems safely and accurately. Information services and communication services for passengers are also provided by using radio communication systems. At this time, some railway companies advance the development of a radio communication based train control system. And a variety of research and development for realizing broadband communication services for passengers on the train and for monitoring various facilities in railways are also moving forward. This paper outlines radio communication systems used in railway systems, and outlooks future development of a new railway system by using radio communication technology. |
