Radio Propagation Models for Inter-Vehicle Communications in 700MHz Band

Abstract(in English) As the radio spectrum of the ITS systems, the 5.8GHz has primarily been used up to now in Japan. On the other hand, 700MHz spectrum was recently decided to be allocated for ITS. The development and the standardization of new ITS systems in the new frequency band are now being advanced. For the activities, radio propagation models, by which performance of wireless systems in actual environments can appropriately be evaluated, are indispensable. In this paper, propagation models obtained from measurements for ITS inter-vehicle communications are presented.
