Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | We had experiments of high speed radio communication to know the possibility of the high speed mobile-to-base station data transmission. The base station with the Flash-OFDM (Fast Low-latency Access with Seamless Hand-off OFDM) technology and 5.3 Mbps of transmission capability, was installed around Oyama station in the Tohoku Shinkansen. Test runs and examinations with the fading simulator brought us the velocity characteristics of the throughput. As the result, we confirmed that link quality for LCX line in the OFDM transmission is based on the Nakagami-rice distribution. Further, we demonstrated 4.2 Mbps data transmission that is close to the effective value of the base station when the 240 km/h test runs. |
