Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Interference alignment (IA) is a transmission technique that improves the spatial multiplexing gain for multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) interference channels. The key idea of IA is to design transmit precoding matrices in such a way that all interference signals are aligned into a signal subspace at each receiver in order to minimize the dimensions of the signal subspace occupied by the interference signals, while maintaining the interference-free subspace at each receiver. One of the advantages of IA is that it requires only global channel state information, and transmitters do not need to share transmitted data. In this paper, we compare the sum-rate capacity of IA with those of other cooperative MIMO transmission techniques through numerical simulations. In addition, we evaluate the sum-rate capacity of IA in MIMO interference channels with channel estimation error and channel time-variation.
