Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The image recognition using Pulse Coupled Neural Network(PCNN) was proposed. PCNN for image recognition need to adjust the settings about the neurons and their binding. We proposed an adjustment method for image recognition PCNN that used learning images. The Image matching of many patterns that are included in images is a problem of the image recognition. In this study, We used the method that proposed for image recoginiton using PCNN to learn many patterns for image matching. PCNN find similarities and make comparisons of images representing the patterns and learning patterns presented to image matching. Therefore, we shows the relationship between the number of patterns and pattern recognition rate and effectiveness of method proposed for PCNN image recognition at image matching.
