Abstract(in English) ITU-T G.709 interfaces for Optical Transport Network (OTN) is one of most important frame work for optical network. It was revised at December 2009. It newly supports new interfaces up to around 100 Gbps such as OTU4 and new mapping scheme. In addition to that, it has explicitly defined multiplexing structure based on Time Division Multiplexing (TDM) that is similar to Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (SDH) / Synchronous Optical Network (SONET). To achieve it, its frames that have different frame period depending on its bit-rate should be synchronized to handle it by TDM based switch fabric. In this paper, the synchronized method that applies Unified Internal Frame is expressed and our proof of concept for it is demonstrated.
