Abstract(in English) | We demonstrated mode-division multiplexing (MDM) based on Laguerre-Gaussian (LG) mode by using telecom band light source and 10Gbit/s data modulation at first time. Crosstalk between modes will be affected by purity of Laguerre-Gaussian mode. This method has the possibility of better demultiplexing quality than MDM based on LP mode which can also be scalable, because LG-MDM can preserve orbital angular momentum which can take infinite order, theoretically. |
