Abstract(in English) Recently, the construction of the wireless infrastructure has advanced and the price competition for its antenna has intensified. Therefore it is urgent to realize the low-price, high durable and reliable antenna. In general, the planer patch array antenna is used for the wireless infrastructure system. But this type antenna is expensive and the price reduction is difficult because it includes the expensive radome made of the engineering plastic material, for example, FRP. In order to solve this problem, we have proposed the antenna composed of slot and patch element and evaluated it in detail. In this antenna construction, the metal case which has the slot covers the patch, and its case works as the low-price, high durable and reliable radome. We have confirmed this antenna provided the good broad radiation patterns and broad impedance characteristics by calculation and measurement.
