Abstract(in English) | Functional safety design is being applied in many industries based on IEC 61508 and its sector-wise standards. These standards have been developed based on the long-time study in safety engineering, especially based on the study "Why accidents occur?". In my lecture, I will talk on these issues based on Dr. N. Leveson's book "Safeware". Hardware design, software design, safety culture and personal competency are also described based on functional safety. |
