Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Transmission line-type spiral inductors are investigated by electromagnetic simulation and measurements. It was found that silicides, wells and diffusion layers are important in electromagnetic modeling. Transmission line-type spiral inductor can be considered to be a transmission line with the same total length when the distance between lines is far. Inductance, resistance and Q-factors were extracted by measured data. Q-factor becomes small if loss of the transmission line is large.
