Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We do study robust fundamental frequency (F_0) estimation based on robust time-varying complex speech analysis for an analytic signal. We have proposed more accurate frame-based method and sample-based method with few computational complexities. In the latter one, poles can be estimated from the spectrum of each sample estimated by time-varying complex speech analysis. The method can estimate F_0 as pole having the smallest frequency since the spectrum can be estimated more accurately in low frequencies due to the nature of analytic signal. It is expected that this F_0 estimation does perform well as pitch estimation of musical sound that provides line spectrum. For this reason, the F_0 estimation is applied to musical sound, and the effectiveness is confirmed in this paper.
