Abstract(in English) | In this letter, the visual oddball task is performed under the condition of degraded images as low-probability target items and original images as high-probability standard items. P300 wave is an event related potential (ERP) elicited using the oddball task in which low-probability target items are inter-mixed with high-probability standard items. P300 waveform is characterized by the latency and the peak height. We show the latency/peak height of P300 is correlated with the degree of image degradation. This result indicates that we can quantify the human feeling for the degraded image by the latency/peak height of P300. |
