Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, there has been an increasing demand for wide-area intruder detection systems for security purposes. LCX(Leaky coaxial cable) based intruder detection systems have been studied. The conventional systems employ the detection scheme based on a least square(LS) algorithm. However, the conventional LS-based scheme has a problem is sensitive to the noise and disturbances surrounding the LCX, and the detection error rate performance does not satisfy the requirement. In order to improve the error rate performance, this report proposes a new detection algorithm by making efficient use of Compressed Channel Sensing (CCS) algorithm. Computer simulation results show that the false error rate performance of proposed CCS-based system outperforms the conventional one by 1-2 dB in terms of the required CNR(Carrier to Noise power Ratio).
