Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, the high-performance digital signal processing devices such as FPGAs and multicore processors are developed. These devices have advanced programmability and flexibility in addition to their extreme computing performance. Software Defined Radio (SDR) utilize the benefit of the recent advances of such devices for constructing useful and flexible platforms aiming at radio communiation. On the other hand, mechatronics can realize more intelligent control systems using fast signal processing, but any platforms that support fast computation required in mechatronics like SDR platroms for radio communication have not been proposed. Therefore, we attempt to develop a novel platform for mechatronics named Software Define Mechatronics (SDM), which has advanced flexibility and programmability. In this paper, the first generation of prototype aiming at the SDM platform is introduced.
