Abstract(in English) The 2011 off the Pacific coast of Tohoku Earthquake caused serious damage in the Pacific coast of the Tohoku district. The inland in the Tohoku district had comparatively little damage, and has started restoration early. An information system is an infrastructure of the activity of society or a company. We have realized the system at the time of disaster, such as a safety check system and business continuity plan, through the past earthquake disaster. An information technology progresses greatly from the past earthquake disaster, and new information technology is appearing. The technology is a social network, cloud computing, a portable/mobile device, and an information security. In this paper, I consider the role and problem which these newest information technologies performed in this earthquake disaster. It is important when considering the future information system as a social infrastructure.
