Ultra-High-Speed Multi-Carrier Transmission for High-Capacity Optical Transport Network From CSRZ to Ultra-high-speed OFDM

Abstract(in English) Recent advance and application of multi-carrier optical signal transmission are reviewed. First, an application of dual multi-carrier signal to bandwidth-efficient return-to-zero (RZ) format is described, known as carrier-suppressed RZ (CSRZ). Next, the application of dual muti-carrier signal to ultra-high-speed continuous-phase frequency shift keying (CP-FSK) format. Finally the application to no-guard-interval coherent optical orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (NGI-CO-OFDM) signal is introduced, which is one of the most promising candidate for ultra-high-speed channel transmission over 100Gbps.
