Abstract(in English) The images of the surveillance camera are used in various purposes in the forensic science field to obtain information for the criminal investigation. From the image of the crime scene, useful information that are the criminal face, clothes, height, gaits and etc. To extract these information from the image that relates to the crime, image processing is applied, and the measurement to the geometry feature of the object in the image is done for the image. Moreover, it might be requested that the image be proven to be genuine. This report introduces the image analysis performed at National Research Institute of Police Science in the forensic science field.
