Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The locally one-dimensional FDTD (LOD-FDTD) method is introduced as faster and more simple implicit method than the alternating directional implicit FDTD (ADI-FDTD) method. However, efficiency of the LOD-FDTD method is limited by numerical dispersion error. In this study, three-dimensional numerical dispersion analysis of the method is examined. Then, the efficiency and usability of this method are discussed by comparison with those of the ADI-FDTD method.
