Abstract(in English) | In this paper, we proposed a method for estimate a pose of an ultrasonic probe using an inertial sensor and an image registration approach for building compact and inexpensive support system for local treatment of prostate. An inertial sensor is easy to deploy because it is inexpensive and small, additionally it has less constraints to measure the position such as optical sensors. However, only an inertial sensor can't measure the position, proposed method estimates the position using an image registration of three-dimensional image and an ultrasound image. In the experiment, we evaluated the accuracy of the ultrasonic probe tracking by using the three-dimensional ultrasound image which is reconstructed from the cross-sectional images of the prostate phantom. |
