Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) have been developed that can capture three-dimensional tomographic images of retina by non-contact and non-invasive. We propose a extraction method for abnormal parts in three-dimensional OCT images of retinal macular region. This research focuses on age-related macular degeneration that is the leading cause of blindness. In experiments with 4 sets of normal OCT images and 2 sets of abnormal OCT images, disease areas are obtained by accuracy of 87.8% compared with the judgment of human.
