Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Proprioception is a main modality for estimating length when a finger is traversing on a target surface. However, velocity information from cutaneous sensation may contribute to the estimation. Velocity information should be integrated temporally to achieve the cutanous length perception. In the presented study, by utilizing a fact that cutaneous sensation is affected by velocity, we confirmed that such temporal integration is carried out. |
