Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A prediction procedure for viewing target sizes of the Landolt circle using viewer's occipital single channel potentials is determined since some features of the visual evoked potentials are different among sizes of stimuli viewed. These features are series of potentials, latencies of P1 and N1 peaks, and Fourier descriptors for the waveform shapes. Support vector machines are applied to these features as a classifier. The shapes of waveforms were transformed with accumulation of these signals. The feasibility was determined using the five-fold cross validation rate. The results show that there is a possibility of prediction for the size of stimuli viewed.
