Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have developed the telemonitoring system of television-operating-state (TVOS) for elderly people living alone. The previous system employed a sensor which detected TVOS change and a PC which was connected to the internet. The previous system sent information of the TVOS change using E-mail. However, the previous system had two problems in the field trials. The first problem is that the limitation is in the place where the system is installed, and the second is to have to update the operating system of PC. In this study, we developed a wireless sensor system to solve these problems of the previous system. The wireless sensor system acquired the same information of TVOS as the previous system in the two weeks trial.
